Why do we need the front rack ?

Catching a clean in a balanced position as to not fall forward. Not getting under the bar and hitting an appropriate catch position is a reason a lot of us are missing bigger cleans.
Catching a clean safely as to not injure wrists. This is big! When you’re confident you’ll catch on your delts and not support the weight on your wrists is important.
Catch a clean poorly, okay, but it will be very hard to ever convert that to a jerk.
